Lexi Reed has been trying to lose weight since she was a child, and it has always been difficult. She has always lost weight, but it has always come back. Despite her appearance keeping her from being social and happy, Lexi never stopped fighting. When she was 25, her weight began to severely affect her life. She weighed 392 pounds, and her happiness was fading. Her biggest challenge was that her body was keeping her from accomplishing her goals. Despite everything looking bleak, love was imminent.

Danny and Lexi knew they had a difficulty but didn’t deal with it at the moment. Danny weighed 280 pounds and was motivated to consume excessively. They never cooked, preferring to order huge amounts of food or eat out.
Lexi meets Danny and becomes infatuated with him.

Lexi and Danny Reed were destined to be together. When they first started dating, Danny didn’t care about Lexi’s appearance; he’d fallen in love with her incredible personality. Fortunately for Danny, Lexi felt the same way about him. Unfortunately, they chose unhealthy food joint after unhealthy food joint together. They were in love, but they weren’t healthy together. The problem becomes too urgent to ignore in the next chapter.
The couple tried to be as active as possible by watching TV.

Danny and Lexi were both overweight, so they had a limited active life. They stayed in most nights and watched TV because they couldn’t go hiking or biking. They knew they had to make a change, but this wasn’t the healthiest lifestyle. Lexi was the first to realize that a big lifestyle change needed to happen. She was a cheerful and optimistic person, and she desired to live a long life. Danny did something unexpected that motivated her to get active.

Lexi Reed has talked about her issues openly in hopes that others with the same problems might be able to benefit. Lexi grew up with a shortage of cash and a lack of cooking. Processed foods were always easier to purchase than healthy foods. When she started dating Danny, things got worse. When they weren’t dining out, they would binge eat and watch television, she said. ‘No matter what the mood, food was always there for me,’ she said.

She remembered, “He didn’t see me as my size, required me to modify, or thought I looked wonderful.” On the inside, Lexi was crushed when she couldn’t discover a wedding dress that fit. She weighed 485 pounds at the time. No one knew how to make her feel like a bride and not her size. She wondered if she’d be able to find a wedding dress. Spoiler alert: She did!

Having children aside, Lexi realised that if he didn’t recover, she would never be able to go wherever she wanted. Universal Studios’ Harry Potter Wizarding World is one of her dreams, and as she got bigger, she realised that dream was slipping away. She weighed almost 500 pounds, and she understood she wouldn’t be able to fit on the rides, much less a plane. She lived in Indiana and wanted to go to Florida. If she was going to fly, she knew what she had to do.
It had become unbearable to do nothing.

Lexi and Danny still spent most of their time in front of the television eating one year into their marriage. Danny was content, but Lexi was growing increasingly irritated. She was frustrated because she had big plans and needed to shed weight. It was a different story the following year, when a fresh start inspired a fresh attitude. Couple Realized They Could Make Big Changes

Danny wasn’t enthusiastic about exercising and eating well in the beginning. According to him, “It didn’t sound good at first because I always enjoyed sitting down and eating without having to worry about anything.” He was fortunate that he cared more about supporting his wife than maintaining his bad habits. To assist Lexi change her life, Danny altered his own, “It’s time for a new year and an opportunity to improve while helping Lexi as well.” Learn what they did to stay on track!
It’s worth making a New Year’s resolution to keep.

Lexi and Danny’s binge eating habit was halted on New Year’s Day in 2016. She decided to alter her diet and workout patterns, and Danny was going to go along with it whether he liked it or not! Changing Danny’s way of life was simple. He was just as unhealthy and ready to begin anew. Would he be able to play with his children if they had any if he had no participation and assistance? It was time to begin a new life!
In Her Own Words

Take it from Lexi herself: “We were fed up with the life we were living, and we couldn’t do the things we wanted to do together as a couple,” she says. She wanted to go on romantic walks with her husband, among other things. Because they wanted to start a family one day, they felt that unless they took control of their health, they would never be able to do so. To keep track of their progress, Lexi took pictures and posted them to social media so that others could see that change is possible.
Rules Are Rules For A Reason

Because reversing bad habits is difficult, Lexi and Danny set down some rules for their new lives and made bets with their buddies that they wouldn’t backslide. For the first month, they committed to ‘no dining out, no soda, no alcohol, no cheat meals, and exercising for 30 minutes five times a week.’ They were not certain if they would be able to quit cold turkey, but they hoped it would show that they had self-control. They hoped to demonstrate to others dealing with weight issues worldwide that they could take back control of their lives.
The Trouble With The Gym

Danny and Lexi had difficulty locating a gym that would fit their demands. They sought out a facility with the right machines and a program that would suit their requirements. Because of her excess weight, Lexi suffered from severe joint inflammation and required a gym that would assist her. They didn’t want to pay for a personal trainer, so they sought a gym where they could train together. Fortunately, they were able to locate the right gym!
Don’t Call It A Diet

So far, we’ve employed the term diet quite frequently. Lexi and Danny would define what they’re undertaking as a new way of life, not a diet. She believes that diets are short-term, and what they are doing will be long-term. To facilitate things, Lexi created a record of food she enjoyed eating and then sought out healthy alternatives.
Having Lexi’s support is the world to me.

Without Danny’s unwavering help, Lexi might not have been able to turn her life around. The same is true of Danny’s reliance on Lexi. Their partnership was a testament to their strength. It was not easy to start. However, as they continued to train and strive for excellence, something incredible took place.
The Results Become Visible

It’s difficult to stick to a workout and eating regimen because the results don’t come immediately. Lexi got what she wanted right away, but it took time for her to get there. She lost 20 pounds when she started. The picture above was taken when she was searching for a wedding dress.

Lexi started the Instagram account “Fat Girl Fed Up” to document her journey toward a healthier, happier life. She posted photos of herself at the gym daily to keep track of her progress. These photos were accompanied by motivational quotes to inspire others to follow her example. Soon, she had a massive fanbase. She has over 750,000 followers on “Fat Girl Fed Up” at the moment. Every day, her followers were inspired by her journey. We can only imagine how many lives she has helped make their battles for health and happiness less daunting!
Fame was not far behind.

Lexi and Danny’s tale was shared all over the world, and they became well-known instantly. Their inspirational story was reported by new stations worldwide, broadening their following and spreading their tale. They were even interviewed on Rachael Ray’s programme to discuss healthy eating and cooking. Despite their stardom, the humble couple hasn’t changed one bit. The media coverage has been a valuable support system on their incredible journey. Although being on television is fun, sometimes it’s nice to just go for a hike with the person you love. Walking with her husband was one of Lexi’s goals.
To return things to where they began.

The duo, who at one point weighed almost 800 pounds together, have lost over 400 pounds since starting an exercise and diet routine. In order to commemorate their tremendous success, Danny proposed to Lexi by the water’s edge during a run. When she ran along the shoreline, she would have been out of breath if she had been on a date with Danny. Every step she took to become healthy was worth it, especially when she could now run without getting winded.

Lexi just had the experience of a lifetime recently when she and her husband Danny visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Look at how thrilled she is! Lexi was able to get on the plane to Florida, as well as every single ride. Who needs a honeymoon when you have Harry Potter? These two have never been more in love. Their love has grown even stronger since they both went through this experience together. If you want to improve your health, having your loved one join you might just save your life! She Reflects On How Much She Has Changed

Lexi has noticed how much effort she’s put into getting where she is today. Her Instagram followers always wish to hear her thoughts, and she is open to sharing them. In August 2018, she posted a photo in which she mentioned that everyone has a unique struggle, but you must start it. We all start somewhere, and I remember how difficult it was the first time I attended a local pulse/Zumba class when I was over 450 pounds. It is never simple, but you simply have to begin to be great. It doesn’t matter if you are good or bad; you just have to begin to be great. Start today!
Mental Game is what Lexi talks about.

During the Summer of 2018, Lexi encouraged her followers to speak nicely to themselves as they always listen. During her weight loss journey, Lexi maintained a positive self-talk and mental state, and she knew it was imperative to achieving her goal. ‘Weight loss is as much a mental battle as it is a physical one,’ she explained. ‘Our self-talk and thoughts are of the greatest importance. Constantly being negative, making excuses, and complaining will only hurt ourselves. If you don’t believe in yourself, put yourself down constantly, or do not believe you will ever lose weight, your thoughts will match your actions.’

Small issues can have a big effect on your contentment, and vice versa. Lexi was constantly disappointed when it came to clothing. Although she weighed over 400 pounds, her wardrobe options were extremely limited. She couldn’t even wear a t-shirt from one of her preferred bands. When Lexi and Danny went to the Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2018, she was thrilled to buy a concert t-shirt. “
I was thrilled to buy a t-shirt at the Vans Warped Tour because I’ve been going for over 8 years and this was the first time I could ever purchase one!” The inability to wear the clothing she wanted was a big reason why she lost weight. She felt that she could never express herself.
Fear doesn’t dictate Lexi’s behaviour.

Even today, Lexi continues to push herself. In a recent Instagram post, she described a new experience: kayaking! Lexi overcame her fear of lakes (i.e. snakes and other things) and got into a kayak for the first time ever. I didn’t die, flip, get eaten by snakes, or anything else I was afraid of, but I actually had a good time. Quality of life is more important than weight loss, according to Lexi.
Exercise provides a great workout for both your brain and body.

Lexi and Danny frequently post photos of themselves at the gym on social media. To keep things lighthearted and to remind her followers that it isn’t necessary to “live at the gym” to stay healthy, Lexi posted this image. On this particular evening, they worked out on the stairclimber for 10 minutes, weight lifted, and walked with friends.
“Push yourself as hard as you can in those 10 minutes, it will be as beneficial as an easy 30 if you do! Live in the gym if you want, but don’t be afraid to start where you are. Remember that diet is the most important part of this and we all start somewhere!”
Anywhere Can Be Used for Exercise.

People who are just beginning their journey to health might be hesitant to go to the gym and work out in front of people. Lexi wants everyone to know that you don’t have to be a gym rat to get your daily exercise. She posted a photo of a lovely hike she took with a pal and urged people to get outside, spend time with nature, and discover! My favourite recollections with my spouse are the ones in which we adventured together, not the ones where we just sat on the couch! It was similarly arduous for me to hike this same trail just a while back.
She Attempted to Alter Her Routine Behavior

Even now, Lexi’s not always motivated to stick with it. It’s not always that she’s not motivated. She didn’t get her job done if she didn’t look after herself first. She posted this inspiring picture of herself after a pulse/zumba workout. Despite my excuses, I knew I had to finish it, she said. I was sore, tired, and full of excuses when I woke up, but I knew I had to proceed. I’ve never been an early riser, but I’ve learned that everything starts with your daily habits. I used to get up at 6 a.m. before a 10-hour work day to take care of myself, and that changed my life.
You can improve any meal.

What we frequently do wrong when dining out is not what we eat but the sides and dressings that come with it. Lexi not only discloses her new diet habits on Instagram but also explains how she minimizes gluttonous food’s caloric content.

Danny recently posted a selfie at the gym after a workout to keep the world updated on his progress. From the looks of it, he has been working hard since losing so much weight since Lexi isn’t the only one keeping the world up to date.
Working out together keeps a couple together.

Danny and Lexi are on a journey to get fit, and one thing has stayed the same: they love each other.
