Unbelievable Hybrid Animals : It may cross your mind every once in a while to imagine what the result of mating between different animal species would be like, but these sorts of thoughts are not usually entertained for long. It might come as a shock to you, but interbreeding between creatures of different species happens far more often than you might expect.
1. Blood Parrot

It is believed that the Blood Parrot is a hybrid of either a Severum Cichlid and a Red Devil Cichlid, or a Midas Cichlid and a Redhead Cichlid, resulting in a vivid orange colour with a red body and uncharacteristic swim bladders. Taiwan, where the fish was bred, has attempted to banish these hybrids from pet stores and similar establishments.
2. Grolar Bear

It has been recorded that Grolar Bears have bred in the natural environment, but the majority of them have been bred in captivity, leading to their discovery. Even with just three specimens seen, Grolar Bears remain quite comparable to their parents, usually having characteristics of both the grizzly and the polar bear.
3. Mule
When the male donkey and female horse are mated, the result is a mule.
4. Yakalo

In the 1920s, researchers conducted hybridization trials that led to the conception of the Yakalo, which was a combination of the yak and American bison. This was achieved by pairing yak bulls with both purebred bison cows and cows that were a combination of bison and domesticated cattle.
5. Cama

In 1998, the Central Reproduction Centre in Dubai accomplished the successful production of a Cama – a combination of a male camel and a female llama – through artificial insemination. These animals are more docile than camels and are thus commonly kept as pets, being referred to as pleasant companions by their owners all around the world.
6. Cheetoh

The Cheetoh, a newly bred hybrid of Ocicat and Bengal cats, is celebrated for its vivaciousness and curiosity.
7. Hybrid Pheasant

Creating a hybrid of two different types of pheasants is more difficult than breeding hybrid ducks. The hybrid pheasant is a mix between the Golden and Amherst Pheasant. Though this breed of pheasant may not be as eye-catching as the other breeds, it has a remarkable and attention-grabbing presence. Its mix of colors, including blue, green, yellow, and red, makes the hybrid pheasant really stand out and cannot be overlooked.
8. Wholphin

This extraordinary hybrid, known as a Wholphin, is created when a male false killer whale mates with a female dolphin. It is believed that only wild specimens of this species exist. The two that are currently in captivity are both at Sea Life Park Hawaii, and their physical characteristics consist of a combination of both their parents. Their color and size are a mix of the two animals.
9. Dzo

A dzo is a crossbreed between a yak and a cow which has been selectively bred to be bigger and stronger. Male dzos are generally referred to as “dzos”, while female dzos are typically called “dzomos”. In mountainous areas, these animals are usually utilized to carry heavy loads.
10. Iron Age Pig

During prehistoric times in Europe, artworks depicted a combination of a feral boar and a tamed Tamworth swine. This particular pig is produced by interbreeding a wild boar with a Tamworth pig in order to create an Iron Age swine. They are mostly bred in Europe due to their unique meat, and because of their ancestry, they tend to be more aggressive and harder to manage than the typical home-raised pig.
11. Zonkey

An extraordinary being, a combination of a donkey and a zebra, was born recently at a zoo in Mexico. The creature was given the name Khumba.
12. Ligers

Ligers, the biggest of the cats, are a cross of a male lion and a female tiger. They are known for being the most friendly of all felines, as they are quite fond of swimming and have a sociable personality much like that of lions. Since the natural habitats of their parent animals do not overlap, Ligers can only be found in captivity. These hybrids can get as long as ten feet and weigh over 700 pounds.
13. Gamebird Hybrids

Crossbreeding of wildfowl such as ducks with domesticated birds is used to produce gamebirds.
14. Zorse

The offspring of a zebra and any other equine species is referred to as a zebra hybrid (or Zonkey, Zebra Mule, Zebrule, and Zedonk). These hybrids of the two species are usually called zebroids.
15. Beefalo

Recently, the USDA investigated and established that Beefalo meat, much like bison meat, has a lower amount of fat and cholesterol than beef. Moreover, it is expected to have less of an impact on grazing land compared to cows. This is an interesting comparison.
16. Zebroid

It is hard to locate anything more adorable than a zebroid! Even though the zebroid has a great deal of the physical characteristics of its mother donkey, it is still plain to see that it has zebra stripes. Even though they are not as utilitarian as the equine parent, zebras have been witnessed mating with a great number of other animals, such as horses (the ‘zorse’) and even Shetland ponies (‘zetlands’).
17. Leopon

If a leopard and a lioness were together in the same enclosure, the resulting hybrid would have the head of a lion and the body of a leopard. This animal is referred to as a Leopon, and these creatures have been bred in captivity at zoos in Japan, Germany and Italy. Nevertheless, it is improbable that they will ever be encountered in their natural environment.
18. Geep

When speaking casually, the offspring of a sheep and a goat is often referred to as a Geep.
19. Female Hybrid Mallard

This particular duck species was created by cross-breeding a Northern Pintail and a Mallard. It may not look impressive at first glance, but it is actually quite pleasing to the eye!
20. Toyger

Judy Sugden deliberately created a hybrid of Bengal and Tabby cats to bring forth a domestic cat that looked like a toy tiger. Consequently, the Toyger cat emerged, and its physical similarity to the wild tiger is remarkable. All elements of this particular feline breed make it look like a miniature version of the tiger.
