It was in 1998 that the world went crazy over its appearance and operation. ANA created another Pokémon plane after its popularity. Although these aircraft have recently been retired, the world will never forget the joy they gave.

The northern airline’s “Icelandair Stopover” mission is to cover the northern lights itself on one of its aircraft. The country, which hosts this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon, evidently wanted to see it portrayed on the aircraft. This aircraft paint job will be considered one of the greatest of all time. We recommend grabbing your Poke balls before boarding this aircraft.
Having A Whale Of A Flight
Most people associate colourful plane paint jobs with animals like eagles and tigers. However, this one is unique: a Beluga whale! Can you see the amazing resemblance? Whoever took on this project obviously saw the huge plane and identified it as what most people would. The world’s largest animal is an apt theme for the world’s biggest commercial plane.

This venture was no simple feat, bringing the contemporary Disney princesses to life.

By partnering with the Amur Tiger Center, Rossiy Airlines created this awe-inspiring monument to the fearless beast. The striking Amur Tiger face is precisely where you’d expect to find it on this enormous Boeing 737. Based on the amount of paint required to finish the job, you can imagine how big it is. Every part of the painting was completed by hand, of course.

The cherry on the tart for passengers of this Toy Story film, aside from the amazing flight itself, was getting themed boarding passes. Don’t you think a memento of this extraordinary journey is a nice touch?
Super-Fast And Fizzy
Despite the fact that the Concorde was a deadly aircraft, Pepsi’s charming paint job fooled everyone. At least Pepsi got some great advertising out of the whole situation. The Concorde could only reach its maximum speed if it was painted white, which meant that the Pepsi plane, coated in heavy blue paint, was actually being dragged behind. It could still achieve a speed of 1.7 Mach, however.
On The Wings Of A Butterfly
There are few butterflies to be found in the arid deserts of Arizona, except for this large one. This privately owned recreational aircraft has a tropical essence with red, yellow, and orange hues in addition to the blue edges and wispy white finishes. On hot days in the Arizona wilderness, you may want to cool off with a cold Pepsi™ drink.

The Oregon National Guard’s paint job on one of their F-15E fighter jets, depicting a majestic bald eagle, is a reflection of their pride in their state’s natural splendor. The F-15 Eagle can’t be beat when it comes to performance and offensiveness, and rightly so. The jetfighter’s first flight was celebrated in 1972 and it continues to be reliably deployed by both the U.S. Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force.
Talk About “Royal” Air Force
The Aerospace Hawk T.1A, an aircraft that has served England’s Royal Air Force for 40 years, is depicted in this design as being both patriotic and ambiguous. These aircrafts have been used for years in training missions and have received a number of loyal paint jobs as a result. Hawk T1As, as well as British aeronautics in general, are quintessentially represented by the Royal Air Force. This jet is clearly a symbol of both loyalty and reliability. More avian designs are on the horizon.
Grinning Horror
Jet fuel fumes must have been inhaled excessively before this strange picture was painted. We can tell you that this is a Short SC-7 Skyvan 3-100, but you must figure out the rest on your own. This is one of the more peculiar airplane paint jobs we’ve seen, so we must applaud the artist for his creativity. Furthermore, the hole in the front is a component of the artwork.
The Vintage Throwback
This Hog has been given its flamboyant paint job in honour of the creative spirit of World War II military aircrafts. Although we appreciate the artist’s contribution to this military machine, which could level entire neighbourhoods in seconds, we wish to express our awe and appreciation. Even the most fortified enemies will flee when faced with the Warthog’s ferocious stare and numerous barrels.
Landing In Disneyland
This Alaska-themed aircraft, which is both an excellent advert for the state and a commemoration of its famously frigid features, moves a lot slower than an airplane. This plane will make anyone thinking about a new vacation to the icy nation think very strongly about it. The inclusion of the husky at the cockpit is a great example of how the pilots are directing the plane.

There’s finally some good news for fans of Peter Pan: Tinkerbell will be able to fly for the first time in her life! Although Peter Pan’s fairy is the star of this incredible flying aircraft, it was born from an alliance between Disneyland and Alaska Airlines. This artwork will make you want to drop everything and go to Disneyland immediately, and it will definitely inspire children to clamor to get on the aircraft.
Sportwear Liftoff
The Gulfstream G550 is without a doubt one of the most costly private jets on the market (financially and physically), and that is without the custom Nike paint job. Nothing makes you seem cooler than having a private jet other than bringing your favourite sportswear brand to life. The beautiful fusion of cyan stripes into the navy-blue body is drool-worthy. You will have a difficult time finding a custom paint job as mesmerizing as this one.
The Patriotic Ones
It is a wonderful thing to fly on a plane with the Colorado flag on it, and that’s exactly what Southwest Airlines did. With Southwest Airlines aircraft flying throughout Denver all the time, Colorado residents can show their national pride. The Denver-based flights will be a proud moment for any passenger with this flag-inspired design. Beyond being honored, the paint job here is immaculate.
The Airforce Is Strong
There’s no doubt that All Nippon Airways’ triple set of Star Wars droid-themed beauties were a hit! People would certainly be tempted to fly with this company after seeing R2D2, BB-8, and C3PO, respectively, inspired planes. Slapping the Star Wars logo on anything will instantly attract customers, and who doesn’t want to fly on a Star Wars-themed aircraft? We’re already making plans to do so. A close competitor is coming up next.
Hungarian Air Force Mi-24V Hind
The Mil Mi-24 is a giant attack helicopter designed to deliver as much firepower as possible with as little utility and transportation capacity as possible. The Mi-35 and the Mi-25, which are export models of this design, are also available. We are uncertain whether this paint job, which appears to be an example of military genius or an example of military foolishness, is a hysterical overkill or a seriously frightening one. Every aspect has been meticulously painted to resemble a bird of prey. This is the only aircraft of its type that will ever fly.
Royal Netherlands F-16 Fighter Jet
This Royal Dutch Air Force aerobatics team was so fun to shoot down, especially since they used to fly F-16 jet fighters. The Dutch Demoteam used the AH-64 Apache in their AH-64D Apache Solo Display Team, as well as the AH-64 Apache. The F-16 in the photograph is a wonderful example of titillating performance. It’s orange, as it has always been. It’s a shame we weren’t able to see this Dutch team in action before they retired…We do, however, have some great helicopter designs in stock!
The Duracell Plane
This C-130 Hercules is a flying advertisement for Duracell’s battery company. This initiative was geared toward powering countless children’s electronic toys, Duracell collaborating with Toys for Tots to deliver the pictured payload of AA batteries. We’re sorry to report that this C-130 Hercules wasn’t powered by a few AA batteries, which we just adore. We love the amusing battery theme of this C-130 Hercules, which was not powered by a few AA batteries. With a military theme, this is another striking work.
Digital Russians
When it comes to slick art, the Russians are hard to beat. This digital-camouflage inspiration has become one of the most popular military designs. Those familiar with the U.S. Air Force’s work may remember this paint job from an F-16 released a couple of years ago, making for an interesting connection. Do not be too harsh on the USAF for its lack of originality, as the Sukhoi Su-57 was almost copied from the F-22 Raptor. From speedy to electric, let us proceed.
Sci-Fi Spaceship
The NATO Tiger Meet is always an occasion for showing off, with this chopper being treated to rather horrifying customization. Zaragoza, Spain, was where the 2016 NATO Tiger Meet took place, with this “Tiger Hind” making its way to the top of the judges’ scorecards. It was handed the Best-Looking Tiger Aircraft Award. Looking like the alien from, well, Alien, this hind is a terrifying sight to behold, with a cyborg jaguar to finish off the fear.
It isn’t often that one of these unique works of art actually serves in battle, but this next work of a futuristic design was certainly war-ready.
Disco In The Sky
This Clay Lacy Aviation creation is the “SexyJet,” a flashy Gulfstream GV covered in chameleonic paints. Everything a high-dollar corporate executive could need is provided on this jet. It includes a whole gallery, a personal toilet, power plugs for gadgets, and a wide variety of hot and cold food options. This Gulfstream GV is powered by two Rolls-Royce engines. This unique lavish coat is available exclusively to the world’s top 1%. You won’t believe your eyes once you see this one.
The Terror Of The Skies
Enough of this happy rubbish, let’s return to the A-10’s more appropriate warlike appearance! This olive drab green scheme, including a ferocious monster nose job, is truly terrifying. Among all the imaginative designs in this list, we just had to include this traditionally warlike paintjob that terrorists flee in fright from. Making military planes more personable is a terrific way to make pilots feel more courageous, and enemies more alarmed. That is enough warfare aesthetics for now; let us return to the appealing aspect of aircraft.
Holiday Cheer From Above
The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II design is a jolly contrast to its usually dour colour scheme in this military Christmas spirit photo. It’s amazing to see just how much Christmassy goodness has been added to this aircraft, with its wreathed wings and reindeer-powered engines. The Santa-worthy colossus against a snowy background makes for an exciting juxtaposition in this next photo. Perhaps instead of firing explosive missiles, they could add some ballistic Christmas crackers?
Flying Fish
How does the adorable fish maintain his head above water in the sky? This is a vivid colour scheme that both children and grownups can recognise. It’s the Czech Republic’s SC-7 Skyvan 3-100, operated by Pink Aviation, that’s depicted here. We can’t help but picture this cute plane dropping presents to children across Eastern Europe. Perhaps Santa Claus would be impressed by Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer as an A-10 Warthog. It might be hard to picture at first, but this would be a lovely present for Santa.
NATO Tiger Meet Pt. 2
With an “Arctic Tiger” paint job, this French Dassault Rafale M fighter looks like something straight out of a video game. Which paint job do you prefer, this one or the last one? You might think twice about engaging with this predator if you spotted it, that is for sure. The red eyes of the arctic hunter almost glow against the black and white majority of the paint job. This baby was a special order for a different NATO Tiger Meet.
The following item, however, is a more child-friendly artwork.
NATO Tiger Meet
We were fortunate to see this ferociously frightening creature during the 2003 NATO Tiger Meet training event (which has half a century of operational experience). From the EX 1/12 host unit, the Mirage 2000RDI 83/12-YL was one of the most visually appealing military paint jobs we’ve ever seen. The painstaking attention to detail on this monster is inspiring, particularly his fearsome eyes. Although this paint job appears to be epic, the Mirage failed to even leave the runway – a real pity.

The Rainbow Make-A-Wish Jet
It’s hard to miss this vibrant rainbow airplane as it flies across the sky, spreading joy. This colourful Lear Jet model 35 was donated by International Jet Aviation, a Denver aircraft management and charter firm. It serves severely ill youth across the globe by taking them on thrilling flights if that is what they wish. This service has been operating since 1990, cycling between different models at different times. This plane’s last flight occurred in 2019, as pictured above. We applaud the joyful paint job and the service it provided to suffering children.
The Winged Warrior
Has the plane been painted in a rooster image, or is it just me? This is just one of those standard plane designs, isn’t it? We don’t agree concerning whether this plane is terribly impressive or idiotic. It is definitely a bad plane if someone flies it. Of course, this plane has a vintage pilot outfit on its pilot. This design is what we appreciate hating because it is so colourful. The following creation is equally zany, but in a more secure way.
Feathered Feats
The Nokair paint job on this Boeing 737-800 is the most amusing airplane decoration we’ve ever seen. Nokair Airlines’ funky and humorous corporate culture is well-known to those who have flown with them in the past. Nokair has several animal-themed planes, but we believe this one is the funniest. Nokair Airlines is known for its sensational sense of humour, and this rooster-themed plane is just one of many examples. Those who have flown on a Boeing passenger jet know that they generally travel under 1,000 miles per hour, which is why this next plane is a rebel.
Maple Marvel
The Royal Canadian Air Force’s Demo Jet is a sight to be seen and discussed. This jet, which is decorated with white and red maple leaves to represent the Canadian spirit, is a representation of the Canadian spirit. The CF-18 fighter jet was unveiled at the 2017 Canada150 Air Show to commemorate the country’s 150th anniversary. The barrier-breaking wonder has a top speed of 1,127 miles per hour and can be spotted as long as you keep your eyes open, but it will most certainly be hard to see.
Out Of The Ocean
The Airbus Paintshop in Hamburg, Germany, produced one-third of All Nippon Airways’ (ANA) A380 series. How adorable is this airline’s Hawaiian sea turtle design? ANA was the first client for the Japanese superjumbo, and the picture shows the ANA A380s headed for the same Hawaiian sea turtle treatment as the previous two ANA A380s. Hawaii is the plane’s destination, hinting at Narita-Honolulu commuting. There will be three colours, in addition to the blue of this design, the second being green, and the third being orange. The ANA A380 is one of Airbus’ most ambitious projects, and painting its 3,600m² surface took 21 days and involved a spectacular 16 colours.
